Does it update when you refresh metadata for the item?
It will depend on when we last pulled data from IMDB, and when you last refreshed the item
Same issue here. Also showing 7.6, refreshing metadata does not change it.

We refresh data from IMDB daily, I’ll open an issue for this one to investigate why that value hasn’t been updated

I think you are on to something here. But I think it was the lizardpeople.
Seems like lizard people can’t fix this. Wonder why?. Every rating page has same structure… why only certain plex movie pages keep the early high rating by trolls and not updating to lower current rating?
Software is complex, bugs happen. Without knowledge of the implementation its pointless to speculate, Plex getting paid for this is as likely as “the lizard people did it”.
There is no nefarious motive behind it. Give it time, it will be fixed. Plex inc moves slow on issues like this.
