Plex not using MP3 metadata

I spent a bunch of time using MusicBrainz Picard to correctly label thousands of songs. Unfortunately, whenever I create a new library and bring it into Plex, it completely messes up all the track information. No option seems to work: “Prefer local metadata”, “Album art from local files”, etc…
Can someone please tell me the steps to create a library folder that will use the embedded metadata? I presently have a folder with 933 tracks from Radioheads Greatest Hits with Ozzy Osbourne’s Randy Rhoads Tribute artwork, which would be sweet, but doesn’t really exist.

Thanks. I had run through all those steps, but maybe since the libraries were already setup, it just wasn’t having it. So I’ve deleted the libraries and am in the process of creating new ones. Fingers crossed…
