I had an OS blow up so i had to wipe and reinstall. when i did this i had to reinstall plex server. NOW that i have done that i recreated the libraries in plex and directed them to the SSD drives i have for the files. Now all my users have twice the libraries they should ( they should have 13 libraries access and the system says they have 27) And everyone when trying to access the server they get a connection error, can someone tell me what im doing wrong please
Since you could not access it you could not sign out of old server so plex.tv likely still thinks it exists and the player apps just think it is offline.
Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms and remove the old server install. One should have an older last seen date
thabk you. that worked for showing the accurate number of libraries. but users still are geting connection error when trying to access. i have no issue accesing from my account so why cant everyone else access
They may just need to restart their app if they have not. Their app may have old connection info cached. Else would need to see the logs from the app they are using.
