My Plex is not working. I cannot get most things to play on it. I have watched Bridgertons on it a few times. Now there is no place to press play. Any suggestions welcome.
Let’s start with some basics…
Are you trying to stream media from your own or a shared server, or is this from Plex‘s video on demand service?
Do you experience this in a specific app (e.g. on a browser, the mobile apps, a desktop player, a smart tv → which one and which version of the Plex app) or across multiple platforms?
I have used PLEX for years. My son put it on my tv years ago. He died in a motorcycle accident last year on Mother’s Day. It has worked fine for years. But about 2 weeks ago when I try to watch something on it, it says in the middle of the screen, Happy … x is currently unavailable. Please verify that the server is running and has a network connection. ( I know how to verify it has a network connection, but not sure how to see if “server is running”. I’m just not getting in, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If they only installed the app on your tv, it sounds like the server itself was theirs / running elsewhere? Do you have access to the server or know where it is?
