Plex notification won't go away on Shield

Android TV version 8.01(32.5.205.75)
Player Version#: 7.26.0.14578

Whenever I have finished playing something through plex, can be movies, TV shows, or music, the notification banner on my shield pops up and won’t go away, even though the media file in question has reached the end and stopped. I can close the banner but it pops back up again straight away. I can sometimes get it to go away by force closing plex but other times I have to reboot.

Any suggestions?
