Plex on Android Auto doesn't see albums/artists

Tearing my hair out here.

We (happening in two cars with two phones and two accounts) used to have fully working music setup showing albums and stations/radios based on media stored on NAS.

Recently this has gone haywire. Voice commands can access most music but on screen we can see only two instances of My Music/Playlists, one of which is empty and the other has duplicates for ‘new’ and ‘recent’. I can’t even bring up an album or artist link.

I have a lifetime sub so apps are all activated. I’ve tried removing Android Auto and reinstalling but it’s made no difference.

Outside of Android Auto both Plex and Plex Amp work fine.

Any pointers? I hate being in a car with no music.

I have the same issue with the regular Plex app where I have “Playlists, Recently Played, Recently Added, and Downloaded”.

I know there is supposed to be another called “artists” I believe but that doesn’t even show up.

So it’s NOT just me then! I have the same problem. Only playlists or downloaded content is showing on the Plex screen in Android Auto. I can’t see libraries, artists, etc.
