When I launch Plex in Android Auto, it shows me 3 servers that I have access to, but not way to distinguish them. It also only gives me the option to choose playlists, but not artists, which seems pretty limited.
My main desire to use Plex instead of PlexAmp was that it was easier to switch between music libraries in Plex than PlexAmp. I have a large music collection, and merging all of the libraries results in too many artists or albums for Plex to be able to manage in Android Auto.
PlexAmp works fine. I know they are different apps, but the knowledge on how to make this stuff work is institutional, is it not? Has development / support for Android Auto completely stopped for the standard Plex app and now only exists for PlexAmp?
