Server Version#: Version 1.21.2.3943 and manual downgrade to Version 1.21.2.3918 to troubleshoot
Player Version#: Plex for Android TV (Nvidia Shield 2019)
Within the last 24 hours, Plex running on Windows 10 on my local network is refusing to Direct Play all library content on my Nvidia Shield 2019.
When testing the exact, same content that Direct Played just 24-48 hours ago, Plex on the Shield reports “Transcode Reason: Codec not supported in Container (mkv)” for all files played via Direct Play without issue. As shown in the below screenshots, Plex on the Shield reports transcode or copy for all fields and PMS Dashboard on Windows shows “Direct Stream.” Obviously, attempting to launch any subtitles locks video playback in an endless buffer cycle.
To troubleshoot, I’ve attempt to restart PMS, restart Windows, and even downgrade to 1.21.2.3918 from the 22nd. Regardless, the issue remains.
