Plex on fire tv won’t remember server/categories along left side

I am running plex on a firetv 4k max and a few days ago it updated. Since then I’ve been having an issue that plex doesn’t remember my server. Every time I go into plex it doesn’t show any of the tv movies etc categories along the left side. I either need to go into more and then pin the categories again or clear data and cache start plex again login and set server. Every time I restart my projector though the categories are gone.
It wasn’t happening until the latest update a few days ago. I’ve now tried this dozens of times with no luck.

With the same server plex web, Apple TV and a plex on android tv don’t exhibit the same problem, it’s limited to firetv
