I'm putting a vote in for mult-part support in the android client, I have a few other suggestions, and I'd be happy to test or help with development.
I just bought a Google TV, Sony NSZ-GS8 (to replace a buggy PMC/PHT, on a laptop set up). I'm wondering if I should just return it, due to some irritating quirks with Plex, or if support is inbound, and I should hold on to the device.
I'm a fairly extensive user of the Android client on my tablets (Nexus 10, Kindle Fire) and my phones (HTC One and Galaxy Nexus), but I'm noticing that a lot of features don't translate to the TV very well. The Android client is, of course, optimized for touch. It's also missing info that I'd like to see:
1) Comprehensive and functional time skipping (like the PMC/PHT client, 30 second, 10 minute).
2) Media info on the video playback OSD, like the title of what you're watching and the synopsis.
3) Better layout for the main screen. It'd be nice to have your remote libraries and queues available on the home screen, instead of switching back and forth between the sections on the left-nav. This could be optional?
4) I'm also noticing audio sync issues, could be my files, or could be the device. It's nice to have the audio-syncing options in PMC/PHT.
I love the product, but using it in a different facet, has alerted me to some shortcomings. Hopefully this is useful info! Once again, I'm happy to help with development/testing. I seem to recall a lack of Google TVs around for Plex Devs... I'd also be happy to contribute patches.
