As of about 2 hours ago I can no longer access the Plex app on a Hisense TV, checked on a second Hisense TV which has also stopped, works fine on Roku and phone apps…

Same here. I think in the past when reading up on this I found that Hisense do not have a Plex app, it loads Plex web so this sort of thing can happen but it seems to have always sorted itself out after a while.
I haven’t run an update today so it seems odd that it affected both…
@AK47UK, describes previous occurrences of this that seemed to sort themselves out. But reading the forum I’d say it’s a bit bigger than just a hisense issue.

Hello, today if I try to start plex I have the message ‘Plex is unable to start due to an error’. Under of this message say 'Reset plex… If I press the button nothing happens. Remove and install app but nothing… What issue is this?
Having the same issue with my Vizio E32h-c1 tv. It began last night (7/2/2019) Any ideas on how to fix it? Resetting the tv back to factory and reloading did not work.
Exactly the same thing on my Hisense 55A6500. Was working last night (2019/07/02) but tonight “Plex is unable to start due to an error”. All other devices like Roku, mobiles, Win 10 App etc are fine, only the TV app not working
Mine was working fine all day untill about 3:00 PM Eastern time and now I am getting the same error message. I have tried to find an answer but have been unable to.
