Plex has always worked great, but today I am seeing this error for the first time, and it won’t go away. Even tried a factory reset of the TV. No dice.

I have the same issue here on an M50-C1. Just started earlier today (July 3, 2019). I am running the latest Windows Server version.

Something must be broken, my vizo tv no longer works. I’ve tried factory reset tv, and uninstalling/reinstalling the server on my PC. Nothing fixed the issue.
Surely this is a problem for lots of other people too. We need to keep posting it in the forums until they take notice.

edit: all my other apps are working on the Vizio Smart, just not the Plex App …
I am seeing this as well on my Vizio starting today. Anyone know if they pushed an update to the apps?
My Vizio Smart TV is having the same problem.
Same issue, started a few hours ago. Was working fine this morning, now neither my D-series or my E-series will run Plex.
Factory reset both didn’t fix the issue.

Same here. Rest Visio TV and nothing. I am reverting to my backup on Roku. Fix it guys!
Merged several threads into this one. We have a fix for this issue that we’re deploying out, It’s taking a bit longer than expected to go live, but it should be soon.

I hope this is fixed soon. Why pay for the plex pass if you can’t even watch it on your tv.

Same thing is happening to me on my Vizio smart tv
Plex App stopped working today on my Vizeo E43-E2 TV. Version 6.0.18.1. Reset button appears but will not engage when button is pressed on remote.
Today (July 3rd) - both TiVo apps (Bolt and Mini) and my Vizio TV App stopped working and are stuck in the reset Plex loop. My Roku TV is functioning and connecting. The PMS log shows each of the clients attempting to connect to the server with recurrent attempts.
Same issue with Tivo Roamio OTA
Just started tonight for me. Same problem with LG smart tv. Turned the tv off. Reset the WiFi. Even deleted the app and reinstalled. So effectively should at least allow me to link the device but still getting the error before being allowed to link the tv.
