It dosn’t see the music in the library? How can I get it to do that? I get the WHOOPS We had an issue getting data drom Music and we are pretty bummed about it. The Music file on the phone has a ton of songs. They are in folders (by artist and album)
I’m not really sure what you mean. Your phone does not see your music library from your Plex Media Server? or your PMS on computer cannot see your files on computer?
The phone doesn’t see the music on the phone. Do I need to put it elsewhere?
I am trying to play my music files on my phone through Audi connect. Plex is one of the approved apps.
The mobile app only sees music from a Plex Media Server or downloaded in the app from the server. It does not look for other music files on the phone.
Are you saying it is not loading your music library from your server? can you access it from other apps like the web app in browser?

Not with the mobile app. for the server on computer you would need to mount it so the server can see it like a regular drive.
Plex is a Server+Client player app system. Looking at your account it shows you do have a server linked to it you just installed today.
OK let me play with it some more. It seems to be scanning my one drive folder.
BTW, if my computer is not on (laptop), that means I will not be able to listen to the music through my phone?
You can download the files from the server to your phone for offline use.

If you primarily plan to use Plex for music you might try our dedicated music app. Plexamp (you can also download from server to that app as well). https://plexamp.com/
Though I don’t know anything about your cars infotainment system so you might need to use our regular Android app.
