Plex on Pi, TV Folder is working, Movies is not

I have an external SSD drive in HFSPLUS running on my Pi 4.
I used this site to get Plex running.

On the ext drive I have a TV folder and a Movie folder.
When I point Plex to the TV folder it adds all my TV shows just fine.
When I point it to Movies nothing is there.
Obviously a permissions problem but I changed the permissions to the drive, why would TV be good and Movies not?
I tried going into the Raspberry File Manager and changing permissions. Sure enough on TV Anyone can view or access content, on Movies it is only owner. I tried toggling them to everyone and file manager says “error setting permissions, read only”
No amount Googling and trying to change permissions is getting me anywhere.
