Plex on PS4 says my subnets are different, but they are not. Was working a few days ago, so....

I am unable to connect to plex media service via my ps4. It was working great for a year or so, and then a few days ago I turned on my ps4 as usual, and I get an error message “your plex media server and device are on two different subnets”. I double checked everything, they’re in fact the same. Not sure why this is happening now. I even tried doing a manual port forwarding workaround but still nothing.
I’ve tried installing all the updates, as well as completely removing and reinstalling the server and the app on ps4. WTF? Seems a lot of people are experiencing this and nobody has been able to fix it. If it’s not fixed by next month, I’ll no longer be paying for plex.

We are aware of the subnet issue, it was actually fixed late last cycle but didn’t actually make it out for the 2.7.11 release. It should be in our next release.
Keep in mind, the issue was a messaging bug, the fact that your PS4 can’t connect to the server will not change however we won’t show the wrong error message about devices being on different subnets anymore.
