Plex on QNAP version issue?

I had Plex Media Server 1.25.3.5409 on my QNAP.

I updated to 1.25.4.5487, but Plex Web App kept telling me to update. When I went to Settings → General, it said I was still on 1.25.3.5409. Around this time, I started getting transcoder errors on the Web App, but not on my Vizio TV.

Today, I updated again to 1.25.5.5492, but the Web App still says I’m on 1.25.3.5409. Other users reporting transcoder error on Web App and IOS.

How do I know what version is actually installed, and how do I fix these transcoder errors?

And logs clearly indicate, that you have a bad (incomplete) install

Please visit Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More and download the newest PP version, and install it on top of the existing one using QTS AppCenter

I tried to install PlexMediaServer-1.25.5.5492-12f6b8c83-x86_64.qpkg last night from the link you sent now. QNAP App Center said it installed fine.

Just redownloaded

and reinstalled. QNAP still gave no error, says I’m on 1.25.5. Plex Web App says I’m 1.25.3.5409.

Restarted the QNAP and it seems to be working correctly. Shows version 1.25.5.5492 and no transcoder error.
