Been following the traffic and the folks struggling to get Plex up and running on certain ReadyNAS device. I’ve personally run out of ideas so turning to the smart folks. I have two ReadyNAS devices: a 102 (2x6TB drives) which runs like a champ. Up for over 180 days at last check. Plex up and stable albeit a bit slow.
And a 204 (4x8TB drives). Leave Plex off and this device runs forever. Turn Plex on and eventually the device crashes so hard I have to pull the plug and watch the device resync for two days. Plex comes back and things work (I think as I’ve only a 25 movie library or so enabled for now.) And then the device eventually crashes hard again.
As this is not really useful I’m hoping for some smart folks with ideas. Thank you.
