Plex on Roku Audio tracks Not labeled correctly

I recently have reloaded Plex Server on a new computer. i was unable to retrieve any data from my old computer, it died with no hope of retrieval. I have the server up and running and am reloading my personal library. Right now I am fine tuning my audio library. I use My personal data [tags] to organize my library. My issue is the data is showing correctly on the Plex server and on plexamp but the numerical order on my Roku devices [I have five] all are showing the same issue. Instead of numbering the tracks “1 thru 9” it is numbering them “0-8”. All of the albums are starting with the track number 0 instead of 1. This issue did not exist on my prior insulation on my previous computer.

I am guessing here (I don’t have Roku at all), but using Mp3Tag (free) or similar, make sure you set the Track Number tag correctly for all of your tracks.

Plex and Plexamp use a combination of file name and downloaded metadata to set the track number, but the Roku’s may be using your metadata.

Thank you trumpy81.

I only have flac file’s [over 130,000.] I don’t rely on plex or any external data base for correct data. I build all the tags into the song properties before I install the files into the the Plex media server. I set all the plex settings to local data.

The track numbers are very rudimentary and are correct on plex server and Plexamp, it’s only on the Plex app on Roku that I’m having this issue. This problem did not exist until this current reload of the Plex Server.

I’m seeing the same behaviour. Issue only present on Plex Roku client. Numbers are correct in Plex Windows client and Plexamp on both Windows and Android.

Good news: we have a fix for that bug! It is currently live in our preview version and will be rolling out to the official version in the next update.

Sounds Good. Do you know when the update will be available

It’s been released now.

Thank You
