I don’t have an answer but your not alone. I have one episode (so far) that does exactly the same thing. If I solve I’ll post here. Also be watching this to see if anyone else sorts it first!

Unfortunately not it. Does not get to the part of playing the video, I know what your talking about. I’ll see about getting logs. It kicks you out just going to the “show”. I’ve created a dummy show, put the same file in it and it plays it fine. Like Roku or Plex has something corrupt (think Roku)…

labbean, did you try using the correct name, etc., but unmatching it? If it plays after unmatching it, it’s in the metadata…

Thanks! I had tried Fix Match even deleting the show and re add. Doing “Unmatch” of the show worked. Played the media under it as normal.

Okay, so clearly there’s an issue with the most recent Plex app for Roku crashing on something it doesn’t like within the metadata of some titles. Is this thread enough to alert the developers to the issue or is there some other, more formal process to submit bug reports to them?

We have this fixed in the preview version of our channel. We’ve been trying to get that released for the past couple of weeks. However, it’s still going through Roku’s cert review. In the meantime, can you try the preview channel?
