Plex on Samsung Tizen - Fetching TV Epizodes list lags for up to 1 minute until resolving

I have Plex connected to 2 of my Samsung TVs
Samsung UE50MU6102 - 2017 Tizen based (software version 1400)
Samsung S90C - 2023 year OLED model

Up to 5 days ago they both worked the same (with the 2017 one obviously having slower CPU and being a fraction slower while browsing)

As of 5 days ago the older one (UE50MU6102) removed my account when I turned it on (presumably after an update) and since then every time I try to access any TV Series Plex is hanging for about 1 minute attempting to resolve the episode list.
After the episode list is resolved it plays stuff fine, switching through seasons is almost fine (with a noticable Portrait mask while the Landscape episode gets resolved)
Also hovering over any episode removes its “Is Watched” tick and if the episode was in progress the progress line disappears when you move the focus on that episode.

The newer TV has none of those issues.

Both are playing from the same server and I have also attempted to connect to a friend’s server and there is no change in the behavior even when trying to play from a different server.

I have removed Plex from the TV and re-installed it - no use.

Has anyone encountered such an issue and if so, any ideas for the solution ?

As for oddity, see if you can free up 2017 Samsung unused apps and restart from the power source

I keep only Plex installed on this tv (it is the bedroom one) so it is pretty much Stock tv with Plex on it.

I also just did a full Factory Reset of the TV, Installed only Plex and the behavior is still the same :frowning:

I don’t have exactly the same but on my 2018 TV I have problems with watched state not updating and the progress bar is gone if I go to an episode I have started to watch. It started happening around the same time it started for you. Something is clearly wrong with the latest version of the app.

I have the same problem as joje.

Watched state no longer updating after last app update.
