Plex On Samsung Tizen TV Stopped Working

App launches fine and can browse around the menus using the TV remote, but when I try to play any media or access any sub menus within the settings the player freezes and I’m unable to select anything or go back a step using the remote return button. Eventually (30 seconds or so) the player app quits/crashes and returns me to normal TV. I can then restart the player app but the same thing happens.

Info, Warning & Error logs on the server show nothing.

Can you advise what logs would be needed to analyse this please. I have tried to enable sending player logs to server but I’m unable to do this as the app freezes too quickly.

I have the exact same problem on a 2 year old Samsung tv. Anyone have any ides?

Update! Reset the smart hub on the samsung tv and reinstalled the plex app, now working fine. you will have to re instate all the other apps etc unfortunatly.

I’d already tried just reinstalling the plex app and it was still the same until the hub was reset.
