Plex on Seagate Central setting feature via windows 10 plex web app missing

Hi ppl, first time poster. I have a Seagate Central that for all accounts is working, i can access the drive with windows and the files with no issues. Via windows the Seagate App reports no issues.

It does and has had plex running on it for ages, but for some reason the plex server whilst saying its up and running (and I’ve rebooted, stopped, started etc.) has thrown up two issues:

  1. whilst the webplex app via windows, or even triggered from within seagate (opens a plex window in a browser) I cannot see the ‘settings’ options when clicking on the spanner.

  2. whilst I can access my media via file explorer, I can’t access the plex libraries etc. etc.
