Sometime in early December there was an update to Plex that auto installed that cause crashes in playback of any video files. They are random in timing. It just stops playing and goes back to the option to click play on the file. It does go back a bit where it wants to resume. If I close Plex and restart it, it will resume where it actually stopped.
Things I have tried are clearing data and cache. When I uninstall updates it goes back to working perfectly. So been awhile since I tried updating the app. Today I allowed it to update to newest version and once again back to stopping play on any videos randomly. I uninstalled all updates and it works great again. It goes back to version 5.6.1.505. Also tried two server options happens on both. Any ideas? Only thing I can maybe try is a factory reset of the Shield. Btw Shield is fully updated.
