Plex on TCL won't Resume or Fast Forward

Hi there, I have this issue, the video will playback fine but it will not resume from where I left the last time or fast forward to any point in the video, it will always start from the beginning. I have a TCL Roku smart tv, deleted the app and downloaded it again, to ensure I had the last version. Never had an issue before and played the same file in different players and had no playback problems and do resume and fast forward with no problem, so the issue is the Roku smart tv app.
