Plex on two Synology servers

I got a new DS1819+ server.
Decided to keep the old one, the DS1815+ as a spare.
Created a clone.
Initial setup went fine and ended up with two servers running Plex.
New server (DISKSTATION) and old server (DISKSTATION2).
However when both servers are on the same network, clone sever (DISKTATION2) wants to claim new (DISKSTATION) server and later on the new one wants to claim the old one.(cloned).
It looks like a very annoying bug in PMS 1.16.5.1488 ???

do they have the same IP…

No the IPs are different on the same net.

Thanks trumpy81 but this did not helped - still the same mess.
I have two servers running new (DiskStation at static IP 192.168.1.11) and clone (Diskstation2 at 192.168…1.15).
One is claiming the other.

Didn’t work.
Same as solution with using claimit.exe.
Ended up with error message: "“Can’t claim PMs - job aborted…”, which is normal, because PMS already has the claimed servers.
Besides, I do not have a problem with claiming servers.
The problem is that once server is set the setup is not stable, when other server is in use it changes setup by itself…
To me it looks definitely like a bug associated with server setup.
Thanks again for your input.

If I may jump in?

You stated one is a clone of the other? Do you mean duplicate hardware or actual clone of a previous PMS installation?

As you are trying to perform this operation, are both servers running?

if you use an incognito window, where the browser is already signed out of your plex.tv account, it will also work. The trick is to sign out each time.

Sure you may jump in and thanks for doing so.
This is actual clone of a previous PMS installation with libs etc.

Anyway I got everything properly set.
Oh boy oh boy why everything needs to be so painful, but actual setup is simple.
You need to have both servers up and running on the same net (of course with different IPs set).
Do not run PMS.
Go to file station on each server and delete the preferences.
Run Plex on both servers - on each you need to claim both servers.
In other words, you will need to have both servers listed on authorized devices list in each server.
And that is basically it.
Now from every server you can run PMS on both servers, all you need to do is to go to settings and select the desired server.
Right now I can not confirm that my setup is stable, because I can not shut down one of the servers - expanding volume and because of the size it will take another 24 hours or so to finish.
However it looks like this is it.
Selected PMS is running fine on Roku and AppleTV but I run on to problems with my IPad.
You need to sign out from your account, sign it again and select the desired server (PMS) and you will ended up with …. none of your media showing.
They forgot to mention that you need to reboot your iPad - turn in off and on again.
And this is it.
Thanks to trumpy81 and ChuckPA for the input.

Also thanks to nydave69 !
