Plex on Ubuntu server keeps freezing

Player Version#: Multiple but most used player is version 10.30.9.4262

I have a plex library which is not used by any other users however it keeps freezing. It is rare that I’ll make it through more that 2 movies without the playback freezing and the plex client being unable to connect to the server.

When I log into the server the plex service appears to be frozen and I cannot restart the service using systemd and have to reboot the whole server (this also takes a long time as the server is unable to shut down and takes a long time to do so)

This was occurring on one server and I have now moved my installation onto a new server with the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. I have downloaded logs however am not aware if I need to do any anonymising before uploading here

That looks like an old player version.
Maybe revert your server, 1.43 had a lot of changes, 1.42.x might work better with your old player.

Or move to a newer client version.

On this device I am using the latest version of the app on my Fire Stick. What version should I be using? I have uninstalled the application, rebooted the fire stick and then reinstalled it but the player version is the same.

This has been an issue for quite a while and has been present with multiple server upgrades and across multiple different players.
