I also have this issue. I'm hard wired with a gigabit network and the server is on a haswell i7 machine with not much else running. It's a glitch in the Vizio Plex app. I just saw that today there was an update but I don't know how to look for update notes. I'm hoping it fixed the playback issue.
at the very top of the forums is a section for Release Announcements that has the update notes. The Vizio stuff is in The Smart TV section.
No. Post here so all the issues can be discussed before I pay $5 for a broken app and access to a private forum that I'm sure has many Vizio owners waiting for PLex to make usable software.
I have the Plex App on my Vizio M651d-A2R. It is in the "Yahoo! Apps". Tech support at Vizio said that was the same thing as "VIZIO Internet Apps Plus". I installed the app on my TV but it gives me a PIN to type into a browser. There is NO browser on the TV. Any suggestions?
I just installed the newest version of the Plex Server. I can stream to my Dish Hopper; but, I have no pause, stop, rewind, FF. I was hoping to get this functionality w/ the Plex App on the TV.
PS. I tried clicking on the links Provided by BigWheel, but they didn't work for me either. Also, I'm trying to see how this all works before I pull the trigger on Plex Pass.
I already figured it out before I read your response. For some reason, when I tried registering on my PC browser(same PC w/ Plex Server), it just started playing to that browser. That was before I bought Plex Pass. After I purchased Plex Pass, I was able to register from my phone.
