Hi all, hope to find an answer here…
When playing a movie or a TV-show in PLEX (xiaomi streamer) on original quality the sound is mute. after changing to deferent quality (ex’ 720p) -all is working well.
I my LG TV Native PLEX app, it is working like a magic with 4K + Dolby ATMOS super quality.
PLEX server : last ver.
any ideas ? Please advice

LG TV model?
LG 2020 and later TVs do not support any DTS audio format.
If you are using the Plex LG webOS app, go into the app audio settings and deselect DTS audio. Plex Media Server will then transcode the audio to a supported format.
Hi, Thanks for your answer, but the issue is in my Xiaomi streamer and not in the LG TV.
In the Xiaomi- when playing the original quality, the pic is OK but there is no sound.
only when changing to a lower quality like 720p I can hear the sound.
(this is for all the media )

Can you provide some additional details?
With which audio formats does the problem happen (DTS, Dolby Digital, AAC, etc)?
Xiaomi model?
Plex client version on the Xiaomi? Available in app settings or Authorized Devices.
LG TV model?
How are things connected? Is the Xiaomi connected to the TV, a soundbar/receiver/etc?
Plex app settings on the Xiaomi for Advanced → Passthrough?
It is probably a configuration problem, since you hear audio when Plex transcodes. Just need to figure out what is set incorrectly.
