This has been happing for a while now. I created an audio library on my QNAP to store all my audio books and then listen to them through Prologue.
For the last few weeks I noticed a weird behaviour. I add a book and adjust the tags that were included in the files. For book title etc. this isn’t a problem. I do the edit and all is well.
But “Artist” doesn’t stick. I go in, make the change and initially it seems to work, but a few seconds later I see the “update” graphic and then the old Artist, from the files embedded meta data, gets re-inserted.
Does anybody else have seen this? I have tried just removing artist name completely, it gets refreshed. No way for me to get around this which is more than a bit annoying.
Also plex: Can we PLEASE get an Audiobook category (and a migration path)?
