Plex Pass DVR option to END recording early????

In scheduling recordings in Plex Pass DVR for when you have a SiliconeDust tuner there are options that allow you to set up recordings to start X minutes early and to end recordings X minutes late.

But what I need is to be able to set recordings to END X minutes EARLY.

Here’s my problem. I record the local news every evening to watch later.

At 5:30 pm I have my dual tuner recording ABC evening news on Tuner 1 and NBC evening news on Tuner 2.
But evening news shows start exactly at 5:30pm on the dot and that’s just fine.

BUT, they both end about 1 to 2 minutes early every night and are padded at the end with nonsense commercials that I do not care about at all.

But what happens next is a real problem.

From 6pm to 6:30pm I record the local news programs on two channels at once. But Channel 6 news starts one minute early, at 5:59pm. Channel 12 news at 6pm starts on time at 6pm and isn’t a problem.

But the ABC and NBC national news programs are still recording even though the last minute or two is rubbish commercials.
When I tell the scheduler to start the Channel 6 news one minute early, at 5:59pm the program flips out and throws up orange triangles all over everything and tells me there are conflicts that I need to fix.

So what I need (and I’m sure other people have run into similar problems) to be able to end a recording EARLIER than it’s normally scheduled time. If the guide says it airs from 6pm to 6:30pm but in reality it really airs from 5:59pm to 6:29pm, there is no way at all for me to override that other than setting it to START early but then that conflicts with other recordings that are in progress but should end early.

Another example is recording PBS shows. They typically end about 10 minutes before the top of the hour. A show scheduled to air from 8pm to 10pm will actually air from 8pm to 9:50pm. Recording that extra 10 minutes is wasteful and useless.

So PLEASE give us an option to schedule recordings to END X minutes EARLY at well as keeping the options to extend the end time and to start early as well.
