I am using Nvidia shiled pro Do I need a Plex pass that will give me image processing in high content like Hdr. Or in other words: if I play movies on my home network via the Qnap connected to Nvidia shield pro, does Pass have an advantage in that the picture will be better?
Hardware transcoding is always active in the shield – independently of the Plex pass.
It simply cannot transcode in software.
So the Plex pass doesn’t matter to picture quality.

If i understood , becuse i playing on Nvidia shield ,
I no realy need the plex pass :

But still not understood how i can set it in setting menu .
i am looking into menu of Qnap - but found nothing .
i am looking into menu of Nvidia shield - also here i found nothing .
