When I check for an update in Plex (on my Synology), it always replies with ‘up to date’. However, if I pop to the website, I can see a later version (which I install manually). I take it, this is a bug in the media server application - or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
Settings - Server - General - Update Channel = Plex Pass
But if you want to avoid potentially unstable software releases, leave it at the ‘public’ setting.
You will get the Plex Pass features with the ‘public’ as well.
