plex pass pin not working

i have install plex on my ps3 and my pc but the pin code to have it for the ps3 is not working when i click the app for plex the pin or code comes up i added but it does not come on my ps3 can someone tell why or can someone help me fix it so it can working on my ps3

you need to purchase a plex pass subscription if you want to use the app whilst it is still i the plexpass only trial period.

Have a similar issue. I already purchased plex pass, my server (computer upstairs) is up and running, I have added a test video library folder. I come down to my PS3, do the pin thing, it accepts the pin but then keeps saying cannot connect...

Have you tried connecting to the PMS server from another client than the PS3 in the same LAN ?
Perhaps what the PS3 is saying is true, and it really can't connect due to some firewall issue at the server end.
It may be useful to test this with some other client connected the same way (such as a laptop running PHT or Plex/Web).

I am experiencing the same issue with my PS3 and PS4. I can access it via my Xbox 360 and computers. I have Plex pass as well.

I got it sorted out, thanks to posts regarding vpn port forwarding. The community is amazing! If you are having trouble, and use a vpn, do a search in the forums regarding vpn and plex. The plex server has to be connected and be accessible by plex from outside of your local network in order for the PlayStation app to work.
