Plex Pass & Sync - how??

Hi,

Relative newbie looking for help on getting content from my laptop to my Android Tablet for use off line

From the tablet I can see and play the films but when I try and download it tells me that I don’t have permission.

If I select the film from the web interface on my laptop the only option is to download locally.

There’s several help articles about using Sync but this doesn’t appear to be an option anywhere.

What am I missing?

Mobile Sync is not supported with a Cloud Server.

The server running on your laptop hasn’t been seen for over a year. Make sure it is actually running.

I’m logged into the web app and trying to access the media server via http://localhost:32400/web but it won’t connect.

Any tips?

That usually means the server isn’t running at all on your local PC.
Try starting it with the ‘Plex Media Server’ shortcut from your start menu.
Check for the task tray icon.

Fetch some log files afterwards and attach them here.
