Hi,
So when looking for a solution to have my photo library stored on my server with a good mobile UI I landed on plex. I like the idea of plex and its development as its basically exactly what im looking for.
The Plex Photos portion is still in beta and I did not see anywhere to submit tickets for the devs to see where issues lie etc. Therefore below I will list any things I see with my experience. I have tested with both Plex photos app for ios and Plex app for ios.

The plex photos app will refresh and say “Nothing to See…” in a library with a lot of files. Multiple refreshes will not fix this the app needs to sit for a while and then it will refresh and show its contents. This is followed by another refresh that brings up the same “Nothing to See” message. On the standalone plex app the files load and do not refresh but are not organized nor in order.

In the Plex photos app not all album/folders are shown in the library section I believe if the folder is empty it is not shown but the standalone plex app shows everything.

In the Plex photos app the Timeline section just shows image names with no thumbnail and what seems like no organization structure just random photos. Also images fail to load.

Recommended tab will load thumbnails but fails at images.
