I searched the forums and haven’t seen anything recent on the Plex Photos performance issues so I can only imagine it is an issue unique to me. The old Plex app was absolutely amazing for viewing all of my photos on my iPhone. Fast and easy to find photos using the timeline scroll. The new Plex Photos app is almost useless for me. Yesterday, it took over a minute for anything to show on my phone and then I had to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to past dates, guessing where that date might be and none of the thumbnails would appear. I would click on one photo and another 10sec for it to show. I have my Plex Server running on a Synology 718+ with lots of RAM. It doesn’t seem to working very hard. Any suggestions on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.
