Has using Plex for photos on iOS become unbearable?

I have long had my troubles with Plex for using photos both on Mac (Safari) but specifically on iOS devices and I am close to dumping it for good. It is so buggy it’s become unbearable for me. These are just a few of the bugs that I regularly encounter. If you encounter them too, I’d be happy for help:

  • All videos taken in portrait mode show up as landscape in both thumbnails and when playing
  • Photos show up multiple times as identical copies in library
  • All photos and videos in libraries have wrong dates with all dates being alltogether shifted by a few days back or forward
  • Playing videos (taken in HD 60 frames on iOS 16.3.1) play extremely choppy
  • Library view in any mode but “timeline” is so choppy even on a local network that viewing photos is a chore
    …

and there’s more. Do you know of any solutions to these issues? Then any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Photo Library has been unusable since like forever, it is extremely slow in a local network. The only really useful feature was Camera Upload and they removed it.
