Plex Photos app on Android does not detect or show any libraries

I have a Google pixel 8 (Android) and I installed Plex, Plexamp and Plex photos. The local media server is set up and works fine with music and movies. My images and photo libraries show up on Plex website but not on Plex photos app. I tried a different phone and logged in with my account>>still no library showing on Plex photos app. Other devices are able to show me all the libraries everything just fine. The app on Android is for whatever reason unable to detect the folders already shared on the Plex media server. Has anyone encountered such a problem and found a fix?

Yeah I have the issue, those that I’ve shared photos with have the issue. I don’t have the issue, the difference I think is that I have a lifetime pass, which I don’t know why those I share with would need that. Seems a little fishy.

Edit: apparently Plex doesn’t allow individual folder shares on a server like they used to, existing items are fine but since they split it out to a new app, the new app isn’t showing individual folder shares. That’s stupid this means I’m going to need to make like a bunch of little mini libraries.

Ever since having to reset Plex account by recommendation from Plex I had to reclaim my server and libraries.
After this my Plex Photo App on Android (connected via WiFi to the same LAN) can’t see any libraries whatever I do fails. Pls noe that it was working prior to the reset.
I even uninstalled the Media server and installed it again setting up everything.

However, If I connect my Android phone (cellular access) via VPN to my server, I can detect my Photo library and view my photos??? Like I was connected locally on my LAN.
I don’t have my Plex server set for remote connections.
I am out of ideas as I have tried most of what’s been posted online.
Please advise or maybe this is a bug in the app?
