Still issues with this after several months of errors. Rebuilt the database several times over and even set up a compeletely new “Family Photos” Library and still have this issue. What is the ETA for fixing this most basic functionality of Plex? It’s the whole reason I purchased and set up Plex in the first place.
What is going on with a resolution to this issue?

Issue with broken usability of folder structure for pictures is existing since July 2024 !!!

I thought it was my ubuntu install, but happens on clean installs across Ubuntu, Windows,
It looks to only affect the web browser for me right now, but the iPhone app works fine.

Sadly I am not surpised. No sign of this in the release announcement.
I’m assuming you mean server side as in the server I’m running and not the client trying to view the photos. I can’t imagine tying this problem to a remote server. In any case, it’s been a year now and your slack engineers haven’t touched the issue. As a plex pass member I paid specifically for the photos feature, and it’s been dead for a year. No excuses, get it fixed.

It’s a very disappointing situation for a very long time now.
Shortly after I signed (and paid) for the lifetime Plex pass,
I noticed that these truly serious problems have been going on since 2024/07 !!!
