I have a password attached to my account so my kids can’t access it. They are too young to understand it yet but if I ever needed to use it in front of them they will eventually be able to work it out.
While I could ask them to leave the room, the Amazon fire tv has a really good way of handling this. You can enter a pin and you don’t know what is being entered if you are looking at the tv. It would be nice if plex could adopt the same method, I don’t think it would be that much work.
I can work with it, and just make sure I don’t need to access it when they are around but it makes sense.
There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing such an option. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
There’s also a number of similar suggestions asking for alternatives to enter the pin (e.g. using a mobile Plex app)
