Playback stops with endless buffering until restart

Hi

I’m am currently bangning my head agains the wall about this issue i am facing with Plex. I’m not sure if this is a problem with the server, the player or the media. I really hope someone here, is better at troubleshooting this than me. Here goes.

The issue/symptom:
While watching an episode of a series, using the web player in Google Chrome, totally at random it stops, and begins buffering indefinitely. If i stop the playback, and start it again, using the resume button, it continues fine. It may happen later or may not.

What i tried:
-Rebooting the server
-Updating the server.
-Playing the same episode on Chromecast, and mobile (Android). No issues here.
-Playing on Microsoft Edge. Same issue.
-Playing the same episode on other PC. Same issue.
-Downloaded the same episode, but from different source. Same issue.
-Tried watching other series and movie. No issue.
-Played it on same PC, with VLC. No issue.

I noticed, through my troubleshooting, that it is like the amount of time, that the player has “pre-loaded” in the progress bar, is in the beginning a good time ahead, but the playback slowly catches up with the playback until the issues occurs.

My setup:
Plex Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319
Player Version#: 4.72.0
OS: Debian 10 4.19.0-18-amd64

Attached logs from latest buffering. Happened around 17:59.
Plex Media Server Logs_2021-12-19_18-00-16.zip (4.5 MB)

This sounds the same as this issue:

I think you are right, the problem descriptions seems like the same.
Thank you for notifying me.
