Today I noticed my plex app on my Transpeed 6K Ultra Android 10 box stopped working. Apparently a Google Play Store update has happened to the latest 9.1.0.x version. And since than, the “TV mode layout” seems to be broken.
On starting the app, it starts in “mobile mode” and shows the popup asking to switch to TV or stay in mobile.
On choosing “TV mode”, the app crashes and reboots (back into mobile mode and the popup). So stuck in a loop. If I choose “stay in mobile mode” it does load the library, but crashes as soon as I select a title.
I downgraded to 9.0.6.x version, and it works fine again in TV mode. Upgraded again to 9.1.0.x, and same problem.
If you really need logs, I’ll try. But it’s very hard to turn them on because it usually crashes before I even reach the settings page.
Anyone else with this problem? It’s an easy fix for me (downgrading). But all of my friends and family have a broken plex player at the moment (all same android box).
