Hi Everyone,
Just having a small issue with Plex Player on my Apple iPad.
Lets say I am playing (casting a video) from iPad to Google Chromecast and pause the video on iPad for a 1 or 2 minutes “only” and I can see the still screen of the video on tv but the iPad is asleep / screen is locked.
If I want to then unpause or resume playing the video I unlock the iPad and then open Plex App on iPad it “disconnects & stops casting” as soon as I try and so I have to press the cast button again and then choose the movie and click on “resume”.
I can’t just unpause to resume the movie easily.
Why does it not stay in casting mode and let me unpause like you can do on other services such as YouTube etc?
I have had a look to make sure in the settings that the app can run in “background app refresh” and it’s enabled.
Apart from this small issue everything else works perfectly.
I am running iPadOS#: version 18.3.1
Server Version#: 1.41.4.9463
Player Version#: 8.45
