Plex Player is not smooth with local (not over network) 4K videos

HDD: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 750GB

Plex Media Server 1.18.8.2527
Plex Media Player 1.6.3.1009

Use Hardware Decoding - ON
Direct Play - ON
Direct Stream - ON

I am running several tests from http://jell.yfish.us :

  1. jellyfish-120-mbps-4k-uhd-h264.mkv
  2. jellyfish-120-mbps-4k-uhd-hevc-10bit.mkv
  3. jellyfish-140-mbps-4k-uhd-h264.mkv
  4. jellyfish-300-mbps-4k-uhd-hevc-10bit.mkv

Results on VLC:

  1. OK
  2. OK
  3. OK
  4. OK

Results on Plex:

  1. Almost OK, but not 100% smooth
  2. video not smooth
  3. video not smooth
  4. video not smooth

All files are in the local hdd.

What am I doing wrong?
