Plex player on Raspberry pi 4

Hi there, I love the look of plexamp and how it presents music files. I have a raspberry pi 4 that I wish to turn into a plex server and client only for audio.

I understand that things like Rasplex are not supported for pi 4. My idea however is to download Ubuntu for pi. Then install the plex media server and plexamp. Would this setup allow me to control plexamp with my phone and select the plexamp player on the pi for the Audio to be played through my hifi. This build will solely be for audio playback.

Update… I now have plex running as a client and server on the pi 4. I installed the server and have the pi set up in kiosk mode to boot into the webpage on startup. This allows me to choose the web player on the pi as the player they the plexamp on my phone.
