I was watching shows and movies fine a couple of days ago, but now when I turn on plex on my Amazon TV, it plays all shows/movies in fast forward (seems like 3x-ish) speed, with no audio.
I have not changed any settings. All media was fine a few days ago.
I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, did not help.
If I play the movies/shows on a computer, they work fine.
This is very frustrating.
I appreciate any assistance (my wife does too).
This is from your files or our free streaming? Possible to get the android logs after it happens

This happens with my movie and tv show files, I don’t typically use free streaming. Files play fine on desktop, but not on Amazon Fire TV. I can sometimes get a file to play, but I have to downgrade the quality to 720 or less.

But I cannot figure out what changed over the course of a couple days.
i’ll add that to bug report but I am not aware of anything in particular that would have caused it.
@BigWheel A little more information:
This issue happens when Plex thinks it needs to transcode audio because the codec is not supported by the device.
The strange thing is, like I mentioned, plex was direct playing the SAME video files fine a week ago, then suddenly stopped working. The audio type I’m having issue with in particular is EAC-3
