Plex plays video in permanent fast forward after scrubbing or resuming. (bug)

I have a problem on my Amazon Fire TV Sticks that if I resume watching or try to scrub while watching at all then the file will play like its on fast forward or 2x speed. Only way to avoid this is to watch files from the beginning to the end and only use pause/play.

I havehe same issue, however it only effects transcoded remote devices. any local ones play fine, but remote and transcoded, the shield tv’s all play far too quicklym as if you watching it at 1.8-2x speed. This is after all updates and has been happening for about 2 months now.
