Neither I (on multiple servers) or anybody connected my server has received an email about this issue. From what I understand this is a “required” password change?
You should probably consider sending out a notification under the “Announcement” tab inside the server itself.
Many people do not use a primary email for Plex, meaning they don’t get real time notifications. Some people haven’t logged into those emails since they created Plex years ago
Maybe you shouldn’t notify anybody else at this point idk. There’s already a self inflicted DDOS attack going on
The fundamental problems with someone changing their password has been around for a long time which is why I have always avoided it. There’s too many people having too many problems to say this process is working properly the way it stands.
Lastly, I would consider posting directions about what to do for different systems, and slightly different situations in an announcement post like you do for updates that other people can’t post in.
The guidelines for any solutions to a password reset are getting buried in 100 different threads with 100’s of posts in each
When someone can’t easily find directions they open yet another thread and this is snowballing
