So I have bought the premium plex last year to watch my downloaded movies from anywhere. I loved access to the channel section. Now, I started trying to actually download channels and wanted to know how to set up a DVR for plex tv… how can I use it? Do I buy a box or what do I do… Plex has no support at all other than its own users… this is very alarming when you spend this much… CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET PLEX RUNNING PROPERLY IN MY HOME??? PLEASEEEE
Is there any help you can give me with the channels? I have the service pack set up on the computer and I checked and it said updated… but the channels wont come UP on my computer at all. I can’t download or search them… I can wait for the DVR cause I haven’t bought the equipment I will need yet anyways… but if you could help me with the channels …
When you have a channel you have a problem with, you most go to the individual channels support thread, if it’s an unofficial one, and then provide info about your problem with it, as well as version of PMS, and the OS you are running.

And reason for above is that not two channels are alike, and the devs of them hangs out in the different threads.
If’ it’s an official channel though, simply post your Q here, but do a search first!

Its not a particular channel, but all channels altogether… NO channels at ALL are showing up… I can’t view, download or search because my channel content is not here… Idk how to fix that… its not just one channel thats not working though… I have no channels, cant search or download any either… and I am trying to download any of them… yet NONE are showing up… I can’t search or download even the ones from Plex… I used to have South Park on my Plex and I can’t even download it again… No channels are showing up at all , not even the ones from plex
Then it seems like your PMS is not on the internet?
I then suggest you go to the relevant server forums and ask, where people knowing the individual platforms can help

My PMS IS working for all other purposes though… IT WORKS to watch any of my movies on my computer…My mother in Orlando can watch my movies… i just can not watch any channels or download any channels… but thanks… Ill try that one too …
Settings - Server - Channels
make a selection on the ‘Region’ dropdown, don’t leave it on ‘Autodetect’
