Hey team, sorry if this is an easy question but I have been using Plex for years but I just cant work this out.
When you are on a movies and you go the the Plex provied extras, like a trailer or behind the scenes clip it always trancodes for me for slme reason. It looks to be 1080p I dont know where these files stream from ie youtube or whatever. Can anyone help with a breakdown on how this works.
Here im using an apple tv4k at one house and the server is at another.

With it streaming fine.
I dont see why clips that are hosted external to my server need to run via it then get transcode im missing something here 
any help would be great.
